Goodbye friend

We gave away our kitty today :( We are moving and since he is not real good with kids anyway, we decided it would be for the best to give him to a good family. The people we gave him to really loves cats and they seemed like really nice people and we think Biggie will be happy there with them. So good bye old'll be missed.

On another note, a lady in the photography thread I frequent did an edit of a newborn today that made it look like it came from the studio even though it didnt. Made me think since Sass never got her pics professionally done when she was a baby, that I'd mess around a bit with some of her old pics to see what I could come up with. So what do you think about this? Not that I expect them to be studio quality, as they arent but...wanted something more frameable. Click on the pic to see it larger. This was Sass when she was 6 months old, feels like yesterday.

and here is my "end of summer" photography challenge pics.

  1. WOW! Fantastic job with making the baby snapshot look like a studio picture!! and I LOVE the melting popsicle pictures.

That must be so sad saying "good bye" to your cat. :(

  2. poor kitty had to go bye byes...aww on the madison mom.

  3. Love the popsicle pictures and the burned out background! Glad that lady could help you out ;) haha

and it is sad to give an animal away, but sometimes it is for the best. i have a dog who would love a new owner, i just don't have the time to devote to her.

  4. Will you share your technique? You did a great job!
